How Modulify compares
Most comparison pages are written to make one product look silly. These are not. Each one lays out how the two tools actually differ, and then says where the other product is the better choice, because a tool that suits your team is worth more to us than a signup that does not last. Pick the comparison closest to what you are weighing up.
Visual builders
Professional tools where you design the site yourself.
Website builders
The DIY platforms most people try first.
Modulify vs Wix
A drag-and-drop editor with a huge app market against a prompt-first platform. Where it lands: breadth of add-ons versus design quality and real data.
Modulify vs Squarespace
Beautiful templates you fit your content into, against a page generated around your content. Plus what happens when you need more than a site.
Modulify vs WordPress
The most extensible platform on the web, and the maintenance that comes with it, against one place where nothing needs patching.
AI app builders
Prompt-driven tools that generate code.
Modulify vs Lovable
A codebase you own and maintain against a platform your whole team can run. The difference shows up months after launch.
Modulify vs Replit
A full cloud development environment against a website platform. Where it lands: who has to open the editor after launch.
Modulify vs v0
Generated components you paste into your own codebase, against a complete site that runs on its own.
AI assistants
General assistants and coding agents, which are not website platforms.
Modulify vs ChatGPT
It can write the code and the copy. It cannot host the site, structure the content, or keep it running.
Modulify vs Claude Code
A coding agent that works in your repository, against a platform that runs the site for people who do not have one.
Modulify vs Codex
A software engineering agent for developers, against a platform that ships and hosts the site itself.
Headless CMS
Content backends that expect you to build the front end.
Design tools
Where sites get designed, before anything is built.
Specialist tools
One job each, done well.
Modulify vs Unbounce
A conversion-focused landing page tool against a platform that also builds the rest of the site. Where it lands: testing depth versus scope.
Modulify vs Readymag
A free-canvas tool for expressive editorial and portfolio work, against a platform for sites that need to keep running.
Modulify vs Ceros
Interactive campaign content designed to be embedded, against a platform that runs the whole site it sits on.
Enterprise
Platforms built for large organisations with dedicated teams.

Before you compare
How we write these pages, and what Modulify is for.
Every page has a section naming where the other product is the better choice, and we mean it. We would rather lose a signup than have someone arrive on the wrong tool and leave in a month. Where a competitor is genuinely stronger, the page says so plainly.
Because people genuinely ask whether they can build a website with them, and the honest answer is useful. They produce code, copy, or designs. Something still has to host the site, structure the content, and keep it running, which is the part Modulify does. Those pages say so rather than pretending they are direct competitors.
You describe what you want and get a complete, structured page back, then refine it visually. The same platform includes a CMS, a database, file storage, and user accounts, so the marketing site and the dashboard or internal tool behind it live in one project.
If it is on Webflow, apply to the transfer waitlist. We rebuild selected sites 1:1 inside Modulify, preserving the design, pages, CMS structure, and content model, so nothing about the site changes except who on your team can edit it.
Nothing. The free plan publishes a real site on a Modulify subdomain and includes the database, file storage, and realtime analytics. Paid plans add custom domains, remove Modulify branding, and add team members.
